Vangelis - The Dragon

"The Dragon"
Released in 1980 (Charly).
Recorded in 1971 at the Marquee Studios.
Engineer: Phil Dunne

This album consist of a series of improvisation sessions that Vangelis played at Marquee Studio in 1971 and produced by manager Giorgio Gomelsky, but they were never supposed to be released as an album by the Greek artist. In 1980 Charly Records released these recordings in two separate albums, claiming they owned the rights and without the artist's permission. Consequently, Vangelis took the label to court and got to get the albums off the market.
