Syn back to the Marquee Club

15 November 2005

The recently reformed British pioneer psychedelic band Syn will perform at the Marquee club in London at 1 Leicester Sq. to present their new material album "Syndestructable" before their forthcoming USA tour. The line-up includes original members Chris Squire (Yes), and Steve Nardelli, and is focusing their revival on modern progressive rock. The band was one of the most reputed acts at the Marquee club during the late 60's, where they had a very popular residency and supported Jimi Hendrix on the night of 24th January 1967. The Syn split in November 1967 and later bassist Chris Squire and guitarist Peter Banks went to form Yes, starting a new residency at The Marquee in January 1969.
