Salt by Mark Lovell

"I used to go to the Marquee a hell of a lot as there was a cut out voucher in Melody Maker wich got you in for free on Saturday nights, this being the middle seventies. My first job was in Regent Street so the Marquee was very handy to see bands... you just had to get there early. I saw Salt who were an almost resident Saturday nite band many times, also a selection that spring to mind... Vander Graaf Generator, The Wild Angels, AC/DC, Motorthead (at least three times), Eddie and The Hotrods, UFO, Hawkwind (twice), Limelight, Praying Mantis, Vardis."
