"Now I seem to remember that I was actually there when progressive rock underwent something of a renaissance in the early 80's. It wasn't a big scene as some have reported, centring mainly on the old Marquee Club in London's Soho district, but it was quite an exciting time, with many bands in their formative stages that are still with us today."

"And then in the mid '90's, we all suddenly became "neo-progressive" for some unknown reason. I suspect that the term was invented in the States by someone that certainly wasn't there at the Marquee in 1983, but no sooner had it appeared than it seemed to spread like wildfire."
