Graham Bond by Fred Rayworth

"I visited London in August of 1972 and made two shows at the Marquee. In one I saw Graham Bond which might have been under the name Bond & Brown. The other band I saw was Jericho. In that small club they (Jericho) were the loudest band I've ever heard! I just checked the gigs calendar and found Graham and Bond but there is no mention anywhere of Jericho. Jericho were louder than Blue Cheer! They really rocked. Bond & Brown (or Graham Bond) was a great blues show. He was up there with his keyboard, way louder than the rest of the band at times. Their guitar player was an oriental guy which might have been Caleb Quaye? I don't know of any other oriental guitar players around that time but I could be wrong. The club was small and intimate and one of the best times I had in Jolly Olde' Englande'. Really miss the place."
