This is the last of the three concerts that Van Der Graaf Generator offered at the Marquee club on the 27th, 28th and 29th of July, 1976 to celebrate their birthday party. The band broke record attendances during the three nights, and the band's label, Charisma Records, published a congratulation ad at the Melody Maker the next week.
