The new lineup of Jethro Tull, featuring Ian Anderson, Mick Abrahams, Glenn Cornick and Clive Bunker played tonight for the very first time at the Marquee club under the name of Navy Blue. This was the second gig that the lineup ever played, after their debut the day before in Sunderland. The band debuted as Jethro Tull at the Marquee two weeks later, starting a Friday residency at the club.
