"I knew johnny a little -he came to see us at the Gibus club in Paris the year before and I had played with him once in the rehearsal studio when he was working on songs for "Que Ser? Ser?". The Marquee gig was special because it was his birthday, my girlfriend of the time was friendly with his tour manger chief who asked for us to support that night at Johnny Thunder's request."
